Immunometabolism is a dedicated forum for research at the intersection of immune function and cellular, tissue, and systemic metabolism. The journal publishes mechanistic, conceptual, and translational studies spanning immunology, metabolism, physiology, and disease. Its scope explicitly welcomes work that crosses scales—from metabolites and organelles to tissues and whole organisms—and values rigor, transparency, and biological insight over fashionable proxies of impact. The journal aligns with DORA principles and promotes responsible research assessment.
Since 2024 Immunometabolism is an official journal of the European Immunometabolism Network and is being promoted by our members to include high-quality original research as well as highlight major achievement in the immunometabolism field from leaders in the field.
We welcome original research, systematic reviews, and commentary publications!
