The 1st European ImmunoMetabolism Conference: Metabolism Meets Immunology will take place from June 26-28 at Comwell Køge Strand in Køge, Denmark. With the Novo Nordisk Foundation’s support, we will be able to provide an exciting scientific programme, as well as accommodation and meals, for a very low registration fee. Due to space constraints, the number of conference attendees will be limited (approximately 120 participants in total will be hosted).

How do I attend the 1st European ImmunoMetabolism Conference?

To attend the conference, you need to pre-register using the link below. It is mandatory for PhD candidates, postdocs, and early-career students to submit a scientific abstract in order to be considered for the meeting. The organizing committee expects 2/3 of attendees will be PhD students and Postdocs, and 1/3 to be speakers and senior researchers/professionals.

When do I know that I can attend the conference?

Selected participants will be informed of their acceptance to conference within two weeks of pre-registration closing (March/15th). Applicants who are not initially selected will be placed on a waiting list and notified if openings become available; in addition to scientific merits, consideration will also be given to the order of pre-registration. Decisions on oral/poster presentations will be accompanied by acceptance participation.

Selection criteria for oral and poster presentations.

The scientific programme includes 18 oral presentations by early-career scientists. The organising committee will select oral and poster presentations based on the following criteria:

  1. Work’s originality and significance.
  2. Effective experimental design and methods.
  3. Compatible with sessions.
  4. Diversity.
  5. Geolocation and Representability
